High Power Presentations Training
Class Size: Class sizes are small with a maximum of 12 people so you get lots of personal attention. People in my classes have said things like "If I have to have a stage mother, Jane would be who I choose." I really care about the people in my classes and want you to be successful. I won't let you fail. Failure isn't an option for me. Is it for you?
Class Format: High Power Presentations Training is an experiential class based on adult learning theories. Have you ever read a book about how to do something but were unable to really put it to use? Or have you been to a seminar where people talked at you? You may have walked away really excited but then a few hours or maybe a few days later you forgot most of what it was about. That won't happen here. When you walk out of this intensive training you will not only understand the information but you will have experienced first hand how to put what you learned to use and you will have a model to guide you through future presentations.
Class Timing: High Power Presentations Training is held in an intensive 2 day format. It was designed by psychologists based on the theory that adults tend to learn more and faster when information is delivered in an intensive time space. In addition the timing addresses the needs of busy professionals who have limited time to spend away from their work.
Class Materials:
Workbooks: Everything you learn in the class is in the workbook and more. Once you learn how to use the material in the workbook you will be able to use it over and over again in any type of presentation.
Videotaping; Thinking about being videotaped makes almost everyone a bit nervous. Videotaping has several advantages. First it creates a similar feeling to presenting in front of a client so it offers a really safe place to overcome presentation jitters and build new skills. Second it is affirming when you can see how much you improved in just 2 days time. And finally it provides you with a visual model of how to prepare and present your future presentations.
