SCORE: Tip #4 - Reverberating Truth

Let's face it, a lot of people streeeeetch the truth.  In fact our boss, our clients, our audience, they probably don't even realize when we are stretching the truth...at least not on the surface.  However if you observe a small child you will notice they instinctively don't trust someone as much when that someone isn't being totally honest with them - even if they don't know why.

And that is what happens with our clients and our audience.  If we don't express the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, then subconsciously our clients start not to trust us as much.  And who do we like to buy from?  People we trust.  In fact studies show that 90% of our effectiveness comes from the fact that people trust us and Truth equals Trust.

You may want to think about it this way,  if everything else is even with our competition; we have equal experience, equal knowledge and equal pricing, what is it that causes one person to be chosen over the other?  This is very subtle psychology.  The client may not even know why they are choosing one person over the other.  It is just an underlying sense of trust...or not.

Tip #3: When we are presenting our information we need to ask ourselves, "Am I being totally truthful not only in what I am saying but in how I am presenting my information?"
